The Samsung Galaxy A30s is slightly better than OnePlus 8 UW, having a global score of 79.8 against 75.9. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A30s has the newer 11 version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version. Even though Samsung Galaxy A30s and OnePlus 8 UW were only released 7 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A30s is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter.
OnePlus 8 UW has an incredibly better screen than Galaxy A30s, because it has a much better pixels count per inch in the screen, a lot higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy A30s has a superior memory for applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A30s also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A30s, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 UW also has 4 GB more RAM. OnePlus 8 UW shoots way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images and videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much more mega pixels back facing camera.
OnePlus 8 UW has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
