Comparison review
The Galaxy A30s has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A40's 79.6 global score. Although Galaxy A30s and the Samsung Galaxy A40 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy A30s design is a little thinner but also somewhat heavier. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a processing unit that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A30s's CPU, they have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. The Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a better display than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a lot better pixel amount per inch in the display.
The Galaxy A30s has a much better storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A30s also has 64 GB more internal memory. Galaxy A30s features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same video definition, a F1.7 aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy A30s also has a much higher 25 megapixels resolution back camera.
The Galaxy A30s features improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
