Samsung Galaxy A30s is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J8, getting a general score of 79.8 against 76.7. Samsung Galaxy A30s's construction is newer, just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A30s has newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10, so it provides you some nice extra features and optimized performance.

Galaxy A30s and Galaxy J8 count with extremely similar screens, because although the Galaxy J8 has a bit worse 720 x 1480 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels amount per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy A30s takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A30s also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels.
