Comparison review
The Galaxy A30s is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A3, getting a global score of 79.8 against 79.2. Although Galaxy A30s and the Xiaomi Mi A3 were released with only 2 months difference, Galaxy A30s is just a little lighter and just a bit thinner. Both of these devices have the same Android 11 OS.
Xiaomi Mi A3 has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A30s. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 720 x 1560 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also counts with a just a little higher display density.
The Samsung Galaxy A30s features a slightly better storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A30s also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi A3 and Samsung Galaxy A30s count with incredibly similar batteries, although the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a 1% greater battery size.
Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video, it also counts with a camera in the back with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
