Comparison review
The Galaxy A30s is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 75.8. Galaxy A30s is a newer phone, and it is also just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy A30s has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel number in each display inch and a much better 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A30s features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A30s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy A30s features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy A30s also has a way larger aperture and a much higher 25 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's battery performance is very similar to the Galaxy A30s one.
