Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design has an overall score of 87.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A31's score of 81.3. Although it's the best in this review, Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design is an older, thicker and just a little heavier phone than Galaxy A31. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A31 has Android 10, giving you lots of additional features and performance improvements.
The Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design also has a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch and a better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution. Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design also has a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for taking images and video in poorly lited environments and a tinier sensor taking worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a more mega pixels back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
