Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, getting a general score of 81.4 against 81.3. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS. Although Huawei P20 Pro is way older than Samsung Galaxy A31, it's body is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner. Huawei P20 Pro has a screen that's very similar to the Galaxy A31 one, although the Huawei P20 Pro has a bit lower 1080 x 2240 resolution, a bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a bit smaller screen.
Samsung Galaxy A31 features a bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P20 Pro features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has improved battery duration than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh. Huawei P20 Pro features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a lesser mega pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality, a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a larger aperture to take better low light photography and videos.
