The LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A31's score of 81.3. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10. Despite of the fact that LG G8 ThinQ is older than the Samsung Galaxy A31, it's body is a little thinner and just a little bit lighter.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a higher pixel density. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A31, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM. Galaxy A31 captures a bit better photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rates and a lot tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a very superior battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 43 percent larger battery capacity.
