Galaxy A31 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, with an 81.3 score against 80.5. Galaxy A31 is a somewhat thinner and lighter device than the Motorola Moto G9 Plus, even when both were released only 4 months apart. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 10 OS, so both should provide the user identical OS features.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a slightly better screen than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a quite better pixels density. Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy A31, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has more internal storage.
The Moto G9 Plus counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy A31. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor. Moto G9 Plus features a battery life that's very similar to the battery life in Galaxy A31. Motorola Moto G9 Plus captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy A31, because it has a bigger sensor taking better quality photos and videos, a bigger camera aperture, a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a camera with way more mega pixels.
