The Galaxy A31 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), with an 81.3 score against 75.8. Galaxy A31's design is incredibly newer, but a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). Samsung Galaxy A31 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy A31 and Galaxy A5 (2017) count with similar screens, because although the Galaxy A5 (2017) has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixels number in each inch of screen. The Galaxy A31 features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
