Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is a lot better than the Galaxy A31, with a 97.6 score against 81.3. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A31 has Android 10, so it gives some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Although Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy A31 were only released with a few months difference, Galaxy Fold's construction is heavier but also notably thinner than the Galaxy A31.
Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 8 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a little higher screen pixels density.
Galaxy Fold has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A31, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with just a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a camera with lot more MP and a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
