The Galaxy M30 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A31, with a general score of 82.4 against 81.3. Galaxy M30 is an older cellphone than Galaxy A31, but it is a little lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A31 has Android 10 version.
The Galaxy A31 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M30, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a just a little greater screen pixels density and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
Galaxy A31 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot bigger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and pictures and a camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has 64 GB more internal storage. Galaxy M30's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery duration in Galaxy A31.
