Samsung Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note5's global score of 80.2. The Samsung Galaxy A31 construction is newer, but thicker and a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note5. Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a bit better looking display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.

Samsung Galaxy A31 has a much greater memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy A31. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A31 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and videos.
