Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than Galaxy A31, having a general score of 81.7 against 81.3. Samsung Galaxy S8 is an way older cellphone than Galaxy A31, but it's just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. The Galaxy S8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A31. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Galaxy S8 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better amount of pixels per screen inch. Galaxy A31 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot better resolution back camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
Galaxy A31 counts with just a bit bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S8, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy A31 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
