Comparison review
Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A31's 81.3 general score. Although Xperia 1 is older than the Galaxy A31, it's construction is a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. Sony Xperia 1 has a much better display than Galaxy A31, because it has a way greater count of pixels per inch of display, a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a little larger screen.
The Sony Xperia 1 has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal storage. Xperia 1 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy A31 features a much longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 50 percent greater battery size. Galaxy A31 has a better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing much better quality photographs and videos, a much better resolution back facing camera and higher 30 fps video frame rate.
