Comparison review
The Xperia 1 V has a score of 82.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A31's 81.3 general score. Even though Xperia 1 V is just a little heavier than Galaxy A31, it's a little thinner and also extremely newer. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 V has the newer 13 version while Galaxy A31 has Android 10 version, giving you some additional features.
Sony Xperia 1 V features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a little bigger screen, a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a very superior processing power than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Sony Xperia 1 V shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Sony Xperia 1 V also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos, a much larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 V has more storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xperia 1 V's battery performance is very similar to the battery life in Galaxy A31.
