Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A31, having an 83.2 score against 81.3. Sony Xperia 1 VI is a notably lighter and noticeably thinner cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A31. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 VI has the newer 14 version while Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10.
Galaxy A31 features a much better performing processor than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Xperia 1 VI counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a bit larger display, a greater pixels number per screen inch and a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia 1 VI has much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A31, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and more internal storage. Xperia 1 VI features a battery life that's very similar to Galaxy A31's battery duration.
The Xperia 1 VI captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xperia 1 VI also has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments and a way larger sensor.
