The Galaxy A31 has a global score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 overall score. Galaxy A31's construction is noticeably newer and just a bit lighter, but also just a bit thicker than Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a lot higher pixel density.
The Galaxy A31 counts with a little bit more memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A31 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Xperia XZ Premium has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A31. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
