The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Galaxy A31, with an 82.2 score against 81.3. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, thicker and much heavier device than Galaxy A31. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way better display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840px resolution and a way higher pixel quantity per display inch. The Galaxy A31 counts with a slightly better storage for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A31 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
