Galaxy A31 is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12, with an 81.3 score against 78.8. The Galaxy A31 is an older, a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker phone than the Xiaomi 12. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12.
