Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, with a score of 88.9 against 81.3. Although the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, it must be noted that it's also heavier and thicker. These phones have the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should give you identical operating system features.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a little better processing power than Galaxy A31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has 8 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a bit inferior pixel quantity per inch of screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a higher 2088 x 2250px resolution.
