The Galaxy A31 is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, with a score of 81.3 against 78.7. Although the Galaxy A31 and Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy A31 is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS, so both should provide all the same OS features.
Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A31. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a bit greater pixels density.
Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A31 both have really similar memory for applications and games, both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro features a battery lifetime that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy A31's battery life.
Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro captures a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 48 megapixels, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and videos and a much higher (4K) video quality.
