Samsung Galaxy A34 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, getting an 82.9 score against 78.1. Samsung Galaxy A34's design is much lighter and much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A34 has the newer 13 version while Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11, providing the user a couple additional features and a performance increase.
The Galaxy A34 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a better display density, a bigger display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Galaxy XCover 5 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A34, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy XCover 5. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy A34 takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A34 also has a lot better resolution back facing camera.
The Galaxy A34 counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
