The Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A35 5G's general score of 79.4. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy A40 is much older than Galaxy A35 5G, it's design is a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A40 has an older 11 version while Galaxy A35 5G has Android 14 version.
The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a little worse amount of pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G also counts with a little bit larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a much faster processing unit than Galaxy A35 5G, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Galaxy A35 5G takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a much better (4K) video definition, a lot bigger back camera sensor and a camera with a much better resolution.
Galaxy A40 counts with a greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A35 5G counts with a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 61% larger battery capacity.
