Comparison review
The Apple iPhone XS is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40, getting an 84.2 score against 79.6. Even though Apple iPhone XS and the Samsung Galaxy A40 were released only 7 months apart, Apple iPhone XS's body is a little bit thinner but a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A40. The Apple iPhone XS has a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel amount in each inch of display and a slightly better resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels.
Galaxy A40 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than iPhone XS, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A40 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Apple iPhone XS has a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has less cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Apple iPhone XS also counts with a 64 bits processor.
IPhone XS has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a way worse resolution back-facing camera and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures in low light environments, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures and a much better video quality.
Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with longer battery life than iPhone XS, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity.
