Comparison review
Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone's 77.1 global score. Although Galaxy A40 and Asus ROG Phone were only released with a few months difference, Galaxy A40 is lighter and a bit thinner. The Asus ROG Phone has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a bit inferior count of pixels per inch in the screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a bit bigger display. Galaxy A40 counts with a very superior camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a bigger aperture.
The Asus ROG Phone features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone counts with greater battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
