Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 3 has a score of 86.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 general score. Even though Asus ROG Phone 3 is newer than Galaxy A40, it's incredibly thicker and heavier. Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a little lower screen density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also counts with a quite larger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 3 has a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Asus ROG Phone 3 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking images in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera, a way better video definition and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 3100mAh.
