Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 7 is a little bit better than Galaxy A40, getting an 83.9 score against 79.6. Although Asus ZenFone 7 is newer than Galaxy A40, it's somewhat thicker and way heavier. These phones have the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should give all the same operating system features. Asus ZenFone 7 has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a little worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a little larger screen.
The Asus ZenFone 7 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Asus ZenFone 7 counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal storage.
Asus ZenFone 7 shoots way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality and a back camera with much more mega pixels.
Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 61 percent bigger battery capacity.
