The Galaxy A40 has an overall score of 79.6, which is slightly better than HTC U Ultra's 77 global score. Galaxy A40's design has the same thickness than HTC U Ultra, but it's lighter. HTC U Ultra counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a bit greater count of pixels in each inch in the screen.
HTC U Ultra's processor is very similar to the Galaxy A40 one, and although the HTC U Ultra has less CPU cores (but faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount. The HTC U Ultra features a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the HTC U Ultra also has an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
HTC U Ultra has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a way lower 12 mega pixels resolution back camera and a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
