Comparison review
The Huawei P30 has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A40's 79.6 score. The Huawei P30 construction is heavier but a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy A40, and both of them were released only a couple of months apart. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P30 has older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11.
Huawei P30 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P30 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei P30 and Galaxy A40 feature quite similar displays, because although the Huawei P30 has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a little larger display.
Huawei P30 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality, a camera in the back with a much higher 40 megapixels resolution and a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors. The Galaxy A40 features a quite bigger memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P30, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Huawei P30 has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has an 18% more battery size.
