Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A40's 79.6 general score. The Huawei P40 construction is newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than the Galaxy A40. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11.
The Huawei P40 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P40 also counts with a little larger display.
The Huawei P40 counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality, a much more megapixels camera and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
The Galaxy A40 features a greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 features greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 3800mAh battery size instead of 3100mAh.
