Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Huawei P40 Lite, with a global score of 79.6 against 79.5. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10, offering a lot of extra features and performance enhancements. The Galaxy A40 body is noticeably lighter and just a bit thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite, even though it was released just 11 months before.
The Huawei P40 Lite features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Lite also has 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy A40 features a little bit better display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit greater pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.
The Galaxy A40 counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Lite features a better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
