Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Galaxy A40, with an 88.2 score against 79.6. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Huawei P40 Pro has an older 10 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Although Huawei P40 Pro is newer than Galaxy A40, it is thicker and much heavier. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy A40, because it has a little bit larger screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 2640 and a quite higher number of pixels in each inch in the screen. Galaxy A40 has a quite bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Huawei P40 Pro captures greater photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and video in low light situations, it also counts with a lot higher (4K) video resolution, a back camera with much more mega pixels and a way larger sensor capturing much better quality photos.
The Huawei P40 Pro has longer battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
