LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40's 79.6 general score. Even being the best we compare here, the LG G8 ThinQ construction is heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A40. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, providing the user lots of additional features.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a better screen than Galaxy A40, because it has a little bit bigger display, more pixels per inch of screen and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution. LG G8 ThinQ has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

LG G8 ThinQ has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
