The LG G8X ThinQ has a general score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40's score of 79.6. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8X ThinQ has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Although it's the best in our current comparison, LG G8X ThinQ is a way heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy A40.

LG G8X ThinQ counts with a screen that's very similar to the screen in Samsung Galaxy A40, because although the LG G8X ThinQ has a little worse screen pixel density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A40, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has more RAM. LG G8X ThinQ captures a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a back camera with a lot worse 12 mega-pixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.

The LG G8X ThinQ counts with improved battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 29 percent larger battery capacity.
