Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A40 has a score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the LG Q70's 77.9 score. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has a more recent 11 version while LG Q70 has Android 10 version. Even though Samsung Galaxy A40 is older than the LG Q70, it's construction is noticeably lighter and a bit thinner.
The LG Q70 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy A40. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM. Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little sharper screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a just a little greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
LG Q70 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG Q70 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Q70 features improved battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 29% greater battery capacity.
LG Q70 shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photos or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the LG Q70 also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
