The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the LG Stylo 6's global score of 76.7. The Samsung Galaxy A40 construction is extremely lighter and a little thinner than LG Stylo 6, despite of the fact that it was released just 14 months before. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A40 has a newer 11 version and LG Stylo 6 has Android 10.
LG Stylo 6 has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Galaxy A40 features a little sharper display than LG Stylo 6, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little higher amount of pixels in each inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy A40 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than LG Stylo 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a larger aperture, a camera with a higher 16 mega pixels resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality photos.
LG Stylo 6 counts with much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG Stylo 6 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG Stylo 6 has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3100mAh.
