Samsung Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus's overall score of 76.1. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version while Motorola Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version. Samsung Galaxy A40's body is just a little bit thinner and extremely lighter than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, even when both were released only a couple of months apart.

Samsung Galaxy A40 and Moto G7 Plus feature very similar processing units, both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM.
