Moto G9 Plus has a general score of 80.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40's overall score of 79.6. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Moto G9 Plus has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Moto G9 Plus's construction is newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than Samsung Galaxy A40.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a bit better looking display than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Moto G9 Plus features a bit better CPU than Galaxy A40. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Moto G9 Plus has a much better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot higher video definition, a much larger back camera sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality and a lot better 64 MP resolution back facing camera.
Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a very superior storage to install games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Moto G9 Plus features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
