Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than the Nokia 7.2, getting a 79.6 score against 75.9. Galaxy A40 is a just a little thinner and noticeably lighter phone than the Nokia 7.2, even when they were released with only a couple of months difference. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version while Nokia 7.2 has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple additional features.
The Galaxy A40 has a little bit better screen than Nokia 7.2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340px resolution, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a quite higher pixels count in each screen inch. The Nokia 7.2 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Nokia 7.2 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Nokia 7.2 has a bit better processor than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Nokia 7.2 also has more RAM memory. Nokia 7.2 captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Nokia 7.2 also counts with a lot larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Nokia 7.2 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3100mAh.
