Samsung Galaxy A34 has an overall score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A40's 79.6 overall score. Samsung Galaxy A34 is a noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner phone than Galaxy A40. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A34 has the newer 13 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11, so it gives a couple nice extra features.
Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A34, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density. Samsung Galaxy A34 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A40. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A34 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera and a way larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality photographs and videos.
Galaxy A40 features a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A34, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A40 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A34 has a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
