Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 is slightly better than the Galaxy A40, getting a score of 87.5 against 79.6. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 operating system, so they should provide all the same operating system features. The Galaxy A71 body is newer and a little thinner, but extremely heavier than Galaxy A40.
The Galaxy A71 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A71 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit higher pixels density.
Galaxy A71 features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A71 also has more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video resolution, a lot bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
