The Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, having a 79.6 score against 76.3. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A40 has the older 11 version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. The Galaxy A40 is a thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Galaxy Alpha.
