Comparison review
Galaxy M21 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A40, getting an 84.1 score against 79.6. Both phones in this comparison have the same Android 11 operating system. The Galaxy M21 construction is newer than Galaxy A40's, although it is somewhat thicker and way heavier. The Samsung Galaxy M21 counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little lower pixel quantity per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also counts with a little bigger screen.
Galaxy M21's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Galaxy A40's one, both have equal internal memory and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M21 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A40. Both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy M21 features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light photography, it also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a camera with way more mega pixels and a lot higher (4K) video definition.
