Samsung Galaxy A40 has a score of 79.6, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note3's 77.7 global score. The Samsung Galaxy A40 is a noticeably newer cellphone, and it's also a little thinner and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note3. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note3 has Android 4.4.2 version.

The Galaxy Note3 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A40, although it has an inferior number of cores and 1 GB less RAM. Samsung Galaxy A40 features just a bit better display than Galaxy Note3, because it has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little better quantity of pixels per screen inch and a little bigger display.
