Samsung Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note4, with a 79.6 score against 77.6. Samsung Galaxy A40's design is a lot newer, notably lighter and a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note4. Samsung Galaxy Note4 features a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
Galaxy A40 has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note4 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
