The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a general score of 98, which is way better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 general score. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has the newer 13 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, providing a couple additional features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G design is newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy A40.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a little greater pixels amount per inch in the screen, a bigger display and a better 1440 x 3200 resolution.
