Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a general score of 98, which is way better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 general score. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has the newer 13 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, providing a couple additional features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G design is newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy A40.
Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a little greater pixels amount per inch in the screen, a bigger display and a better 1440 x 3200 resolution. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has 8 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a way better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera, a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality photographs and a way higher video definition.
