Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Active has older 5.0 version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Galaxy S6 Active is a thicker but incredibly lighter phone than the Galaxy A40.
The Galaxy S6 Active has a better performance than Galaxy A40, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and more pixels per display inch.
The Galaxy A40 counts with a much better memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a little better battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 3100mAh.
The Galaxy A40 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a tinier camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have a back camera with a 16 mega-pixels resolution, the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low light captures and video.
