Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40's overall score of 79.6. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A40, although it was released many years before.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a better performing processor than Galaxy A40, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics processor and a 64 bits CPU. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a much sharper display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a higher pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
