The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge's overall score of 78.1. Although Samsung Galaxy A40 is a bit thicker than Galaxy S7 edge, it's lighter and also notably newer. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has an older 11 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A40, although it has 4 lesser cpu cores (although faster), they both have the same RAM amount. The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
